GOLF BALL BOB’S PHOTO STORY
See the world through the eyes of a golf ball
Golf ball BoB has many different talents, but one thing he really has to improve is taking good pictures. Usually Liane is the boss of our camera and in the beginning BoB was not interested in photography at all. But he became curious and after a while he wanted to try it out himself. One day he asked if he could use Liane’s camera as well? But there was a problem… the viewfinder was too high for a little golf ball. So we built a small ladder for BoB and we promised him to publish his pictures on the blog regularly from now on.
BoB is not a professional photographer yet, but we are sure he will improve. (We already chose the best ones! ? ) And he’s super proud to show you his first shots. I’m sure they will put a smile on your face.
The beautiful Andes of Peru
You need some imagination for this photo. On the Santa Cruz Trek we asked BoB, if he can take a picture of us in front of the beautiful Andes mountains in Peru. You could see the snow-capped peaks in the clouds. Stunning!
Middle earth in Ecuador
In Ecuador BoB wanted to take a picture of Liane and me at a very special place. But the right timing is not one of his strenghts yet… as you can see. Anyway, the most important detail is in the picture: the yellow equator line at latitude 0″ 0″ 0″. Middle earth.
You want to see more of the equator line? Have a look at our 10 Things to do in Quito.
Santo Domingo church in Cuenca, Ecuador
Cuenca was a beautiful city in Ecuador we haven’t written about http://buykeppraonlinenow.com yet. You find numerous really impressive churches here. BoB had two favorite ones. This picture shows the Santo Domingo church.
PS: BoB got photo bombed by a curious pigeon! ?
Catedral de la Inmaculada Cuenca, Ecuador
BoB‘s second favorite church was the Catedral de la Inmaculada right in the center of Cuenca. You have to admit THIS picture is not too bad. Good job BoB!
Train cemetery Uyuni, Bolivia
The Salar de Uyuni was just amazing. At the beginnig of our 3 day trip we visited the train cemetery of Uyuni. Liane asked BoB, if he can take a picture of the trains. He obviously did and the result is pretty cool, I think.
Sunset in the Andean Plateau, Bolivia
The Andean Plateau spoiled us with beautiful sunsets. A picture of Liane and me in our typical pose was a must. BoB set up the camera and click – this is the result.
Parliament La Paz, Bolivia
Another pigeon? No, actually BoB wanted to take a picture of the the parliament building at Plaza Murillo in Bolivia’s capital La Paz. It is the building to the right…
Wine in Argentina
Cheers! In the wine region of Argentina we asked BoB to take another picture of us. Oh man, one day we will look back on these pictures and remember the good old times. Thanks BoB for the memories!
Now you got a first impression on how the world looks from the perspective of a little golf ball with BoB‘s first photo story. He is super curious, if you liked his pictures. Please share this post and leave a message for BoB, if you think he should keep on climbing up the ladder and taking his very special photos!
Thanks for reading and safe travels
Lars and BoB
